English

Financial victimization, as the most common type of victimization, is affected by variety of factors, including individual, internal, external causes, and social harms. Depending on the type of financial crime and process of the offender's transition to criminal activity, various solutions are proposed to prevent this phenomenon; however, before applying these solutions, it is necessary to accurately identify the factors of victimization. Among them, biological factors, as the closest and most primary factors, play a prominent role in the spread of financial victimization. Although the occurrence of these factors is often involuntary and beyond the will of individuals, their recognition can, with the necessary care, prevent possible harm or at least double harm. Biological harms related to financial victimization, which are examined in this article using library resources and an analytical-descriptive method, include physical disability, age (with a focus on childhood and old age), and gender. Each of these factors, in its own way, has a significant impact on individuals becoming victims of financial crimes. Islamic teachings, emphasizing support for the oppressed, take these factors into account and provide solutions to reduce vulnerability. In this regard, the Supreme Leader’s guidelines, especially in Second Step Declaration of Islamic Revolution, can be helpful. The research findings show which by integrating these teachings, vulnerability caused by biological factors can be reduced and move towards effective and low-cost prevention.
